Personal data we collect

• Account data — email address, first name or display name, password credentials (stored hashed by our authentication provider), time zone, and profile photo if you upload one. Used to create and secure your account and to personalise the app.
• Activity data — the groups you belong to, weekly commitments, tasks, executions you log, and announcements you publish. Used to provide the core accountability features and to show progress to you and to the admins of groups you join.
• Communication data — your email preferences and a record of which check-in, recap, welcome, and billing emails we sent you. Used to deliver the emails you opted into and to avoid sending duplicates.
• Support data — messages you send us. Used to answer your questions.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and error or usage logs. Used for security, fraud prevention, and improving reliability.
• Subscription data — your plan, subscription status, and the customer and subscription identifiers provided by Paddle. Used to give you access to paid features. We do not collect or store your card details.

Legal bases

We process account, activity, communication, and subscription data to perform our contract with you. We process technical and security data on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping the Service safe and reliable. Optional marketing or non-essential communications rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Some processing is required to meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting.

Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, error monitoring, and email delivery providers who process data on our instructions.
• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record for the sale of subscriptions. Paddle handles checkout, payments, subscription management, invoicing, tax compliance, and refunds.
• Group admins — if you join a group, the admin of that group can see your name, profile photo, commitments, and execution activity within that group.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Retention

We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is open, so that your history stays available to you. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer for tax, accounting, or legal purposes. Email delivery logs are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office. To exercise any of these rights, email support@imanscorner.com. We respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls in our database, private storage for profile photos, and least-privilege access for administrators.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage only — to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference, and secure the session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Paddle may set cookies necessary to complete checkout. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the app will not work correctly without the essential ones.
